AKTU students federation demands AKTU to follow Pharmacy Council of India guidelines

The students federation of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow is demanding on social media to regulate the university as per Pharmacy Council of India guidelines.

The students of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow are demanding on social media to regulate the university as per the guidelines of the Pharmacy Council of India.

AKTU Chhatrsangh, the students federation of the university, has tweeted," According to Pharmacy council of India a semester must be of 100 working days and now what are your views ? @AKTU_Lucknow @74_alok @Aktucoe We students urge @Pharmadept to regulate AKTU as per the documents. And Cancel their licence for pharmacy colleges. #AKTUExamPostpone"

It also tweeted, "Now the months are changed due to pandemic but shortening the time, of course, is not bearable. There will be a must 100 working days. If anyone doesn't understood "working day " concept Dm is opened."

The Pharmacy Council of India guidelines say "Working days in each semester: Each semester shall consist of not less than 100 working days. The odd semesters shall be conducted from the month of June/July to November/December and the even semesters shall be conducted from December/January to May/June in every calendar year. Attendance and progress: A candidate is required to put in at least 80% attendance in individual courses considering theory and practical separately. The candidate shall complete the prescribed course satisfactorily to be eligible to appear for the respective examinations."

AKTU students have been also demanding to conduct online examinations considering the pandemic situation. Some of the related tweets are:
