Allahabad University Admissions 2021: Allahabad University today began the Allahabad University Admissions 2021 counselling for various undergraduate courses. The Allahabad University will be conducting the counselling in offline mode at Pravesh Bhavan.
“Following the Covid guidelines, the admission process will be completed on the same day for eligible students by conducting counselling, asking for options of subjects by the candidates and their depositing of fees”, Director (admission cell) of AU, Prof IR Siddiqui told HT.
The candidates eligible for admission were asked to report at the center for counselling at 9.30 am. During the counselling session, the details of the class-wise seat of the courses will be displayed on the big screen to help candidates choose as per their choices.
Candidates will be given admission on the basis of the availability of seats and merit. In order to secure a seat, candidates have to pay the fees. The fees can be paid by cash, credit or debit cards and through payment apps.
As per the Allahabad University Counselling Schedule 2021, the BSc Bio counselling will be done on November 24. Admission for BCom will begin from November 25, for BA from November 28 and for BSc Home Science, from November 29. Necessary facilities are being ensured for the candidates at the Pravesh Bhavan, he added.
Allahabad University had earlier also released the SOPs for candidates to attend the counseling. As per SOPs, it is mandatory for all the candidates to wear masks and carry hand and surface sanitizer with them.
