APPSC Group 1 Main Exam 2018 from November 2. Read below for details
APPSC has released new exam dates for the APPSC Group 1 main exam 2018. The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission released the revised exam calendar for all the exams postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
APPSC Group 1 exam was scheduled to be conducted in April 2020, but as per the revised exam calendar, the APPSC Group 1 exam will be conducted from November 2 to 13. The APPSC Group 1 prelim exam was conducted in May 2019 and around Eight thousand and five hundred candidates were declared qualified in the APPSC group 1 result.
The APPSC has changed the Group 1 main exam pattern by introducing the Indian Polity and Constitution paper as paper III. The total number of papers in the APPSC Group 1 main exam is seven now. The Telugu and English papers are qualifying in nature only. The candidates need to qualify in these two papers and the marks secured in these papers are not considered for the final merit.

In January 2020, High Court of Andhra Pradesh directed the commission to explore the possibility to conduct the APPSC Group 1 exam all over again, but the commission released the exam dates of April 2020. Now, the exam will be conducted from November 2.
APPSC Group 1 exam is conducted every year to recruit the candidates for the top state services who work in tandem with the IAS officers working in the state.
