AYUSH: Bihar Chief Minister inaugurates three days Ayurveda festival 2021
To promote AYUSH in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inaugurated three days Ayurveda festival 2021.
AYUSH ( Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) is the ancient Indian system of holistic treatment. It gained more popularity now as the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has highlighted the significance of a strong immune system to fight viruses and infections.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has recently inaugurated a three-day Ayurveda festival 2021 at Rajgir International Convention Centre in Patna.
Ministry of Ayush tweet reads, "To promote AYUSH in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has inaugurated three days Ayurveda festival - 2021 on Saturday. Health Minister Mangal Pandey and Secretary of the Union Ministry of AYUSH Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha also attended the event."
Secretary of the Union Ministry of AYUSH also tweeted, "To promote traditional system of medicine a three-day โAyurveda Parvโ at Rajgir International Convention Centre was inaugurated by Shri Nitish Kumar Honโble Chief Minister of Bihar on 11/12/2021."
Nitish Kumar said during the event, "After seeing the condition of government Ayurveda University and Hospital on November 22, we decided to make the services better there and also develop the college. Also, we will shift government Tibbi College and Hospital near Nalanda Medical College campus and we have allotted 10 acres of land for the same. The building construction will complete in nearly one and a half or two years, then we will shift the Tibbi college to the new campus."
"We are also planning to restart the Ayurveda colleges that are closed. The Cabinet has approved INR 838 crores for developing government Rai Bahadur Tunki Sah Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur, Rajkiya Maharani Rameshwari Bhartiya Chikitsa Vigyan Sansthan, Darbhanga and Ayodhya Shivkumari Ayurveda College & Hospital Begusarai," he added.
