Ayush Start-up Challenge: AIIA extends deadline for application submission to March 20

Due to many requests for the extension of the deadline for application submission to participate in the Ayush Start-up Challenge, the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has extended the last date to March 20.

Ayush Start-up Challenge is a government initiative to identify the start-ups in this field and support them. All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) has said that after Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mentioned the Ayush Start-up Challenge in Mann ki Baat and also due to several requests to extend the last date, the deadline to submit the application form has been extended to March 20.

Ayush Start-up Challenge Details

The eligibility criteria for the Ayush Start-up Challenge are as follows:

1. Early Stage Startups

2. Individuals as a group (3-5 members)- (If selected, they will be required to register a legal entity before any cash prize/grant can be rewarded to them).

The themes for challenges are - Ayush Food Innovations, Ayush Bio-instrumentation (Hardware solutions), and Ayush IT Solutions (Software solutions). 

The incentives include fiscal incentives and non-fiscal Incentives. The fiscal incentives include 2 prizes in each sector which make it a total of 6 prizes. The first prize is INR 1,00,000 and the second prize is INR 50,000. The non-fiscal incentives include incubation support at All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) and/or All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) Incubation Partners (Period will depend on the feasibility of the idea and will be determined on a case-to-case basis).
