BUMAT 2020 Begins Today in Online Remote Proctored Mode

BUMAT 2020, the entrance exam for BBA and BCA courses at Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune has commenced from August 18 in online remote proctored mode. Know the detailed information about the test here.

BUMAT 2020 Begins on August 18

Bharati Vidyapeeth Undergraduate Management Aptitude Test or BUMAT 2020 has commenced from today, i.e. August 18. The test will be conducted over a window of three days, till August 20, in three slots each day. Registered candidates would have received the test date and slot on their email and mobile number as SMS. For the first time, the BUMAT will be conducted in an online or Internet-Based Test (IBT) remote proctored mode. Candidates will have to log in to their personal computers at their homes or any location of their convenience, but it should not be a public place. An exam official or a proctor would confirm and approve of their candidature before approving to begin the test.

How to Take BUMAT 2020

  • Candidates have to set up their system at least 45 minutes prior to the exam schedule

  • They have to log in using the credentials given in the email or the BUMAT admit card

  • Test-takers have to click a photograph on the spot of themselves and their photo identity card issued by the Government of India and wait for the proctor to approve both

  • Candidates will be able to start the test after the proctor’s approval

The online proctor will monitor the candidate along with the monitor, keyboard and mouse throughout the test duration. Candidates will have to keep their web camera and microphone and they are not allowed to take any break during the test.

The computer system should have Windows 8 or Windows 10 operating system along with Google Chrome Version 80 or above and internet connectivity of 2 MBPS or above.

BUMAT 20220 Exam Pattern

According to BUMAT exam pattern, the duration of the test is 150 minutes. There are four sections and the total number of questions is 200. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking scheme. The following table brings the structure of BUMAT.

The BUMAT 2020 is conducted for the admission to BBA and BCA courses offered by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune and its affiliated colleges which accept BUMAT scores. The BUMAT 2020 result will be declared on August 24. The counselling process is likely to begin from August 27 and end on August 29.
