BIMTECH Placement 2022: Highest salary offered is INR 24.67 lakh

BIMTECH Placements 2022, the average salary offered to students witnessed an increase of 16.23 percent compared to last year's placement.

BIMTECH Placements 2022: The Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida witnessed 100 percent placement for the 2020-22 batch. According to the information released by the institute, the highest annual salary offered during BIMTECH Placements 2022 was INR 24.67 lakh for an international placement. Whereas, the highest salary offered during domestic placement was INR 18 lakh.

The average salary offered to students witnessed an increase of 16.23 percent compared to last year's placement. The institute said that the average salary offered was INR 9.38 lakh per annum. Companies from various sectors such as consulting, information technology (IT) and IT-enabled services (ITeS), offered different roles to BIMTECH students, constituting 48 percent of the total recruitment. This was followed by other sectors such as banking, financial services and manufacturing.

National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) data reveals, 401 students out of the 411 students who graduated from BIMTECH in the academic year 2019-20 were placed with a median salary of INR 8.03 lakh per annum.

The official statement claim that out of the total number of companies that participated in the BIMTECH placement drive, 30 percent were new companies. According to the institute, companies such as Bain Capability Network, Kantar, Viacom 18, Hitachi, Dabur India Ltd, General Mills, Sobha Reality Group, Reliance BP, Yokohama off-Highway Tires, among others were new recruiters. Top recruiters from the industry were Mazars, Maruti Suzuki, Deloitte, Mindtree, Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, MongoDB, TCS, SBI Cards, ICICI Bank, Hyundai, TVS, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail, Reliance Retail, Titan, among others, participated in the BIMTECH placement drive.
