AP SSC Results 2022: Demand for grace marks increases after 2 lakh fail Manabadi 10th exams

Post the declaration of AP SSC results, students, parents have started demanding grace marks. Reports revealed that at least four students who failed AP SSC Board Exams 2022 ended their life.

Manabadi AP SSC Results 2022: The Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) declared the SSC or Class 10 results on June 6. The announcement of AP SSC exam results 2022 revealed that around 2 lakh students were declared failed in the 10^th board exams. AP SSC Manabadi Results 2022 recorded the all-time low overall percentage, i.e. only 67.26 percent. Out of the total, only 4,14,281 passed the Class 10 public examinations in Andhra Pradesh this year.

Students, parents demand grace marks post AP SSC Results 2022

Post the declaration of AP SSC results, students, parents have started demanding grace marks. Reports revealed that at least four students who failed AP SSC Board Exams 2022 ended their life. Student unions decided to intensify agitation demanding grace marks.

0% pass in 71 schools

Manabadi 10^th results revealed that 797 schools recorded 100% pass, while 71 schools saw 0% pass. Of the 71 schools where no student cleared the Class 10 board exam, 31 are private schools. Talking about the reason behind such a massive dip in AP SSC pass percentage, Education Minister Botcha Satyanarayana said that learning loss that took place during COVID-19 adversely affected students’ performance in AP SSC Exams 2022.

The minister further talked about the conduct of AP SSC supplementary exams from July 6 to 15, 2022 for students who failed to qualify AP SSC Board Exams 2022.

Schools have also been directed to conduct special classes for the students who failed in AP SSC exam 2022 will be held from June 13. The date sheet for the AP SSC supplementary exams will also be issued soon.

Issue at least 10 grace marks to students

While the board is prepping up for AP SSC Supplementary Exams 2022, Jana Sena, TDP and Left parties have demanded the state government to award at least 10 grace marks to the students who failed in AP Class 10 result 2022, according to TOI.
