In the new guidelines, the Board has directed schools and authorities to ensure that students are inside the exam centre by 10:45 am.

CBSE Class 12 Term-1 Exam 2021: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) through its latest notification announced its decision to scrap the same day evaluation in the examination centre from December 16 onwards. Earlier, the CBSE exam centres were evaluating the OMRs the same day. The same day evaluation resulted in speculation that CBSE Results 2022 will be released in the fastest time ever. However, since the practice has been scrapped, it is likely that the CBSE results will be delayed. Certain fresh guidelines have also been issued by the Board for centre superintendents to follow during the remaining CBSE Class 12 board exams. In the new guidelines, the Board has directed schools and authorities to ensure that students are inside the exam centre by 10:45 am. "In case, any student is reaching late to the examination centre, she/ he should be frisked properly," CBSE guidelines mentioned.

Also, CBSE will send password mails to schools and operation code at 10:45 am. Printing of question papers within the stipulated period must also be ensured by schools. According to the CBSE guidelines, "All the centre superintendent and observer will sign on the sealed parcel and will mention the time of packing also. Once OMRs are packed and sealed, the same will be dispatched to the concerned regional office.”

The board has also instructed the centre superintendent to take care of the sealed parcel. "Once OMRs are packed and sealed, the same will be dispatched to the local regional office. After dispatch, the receipt of dispatch will also be uploaded as per practice," read CBSE guidelines.

It further instructed, β€œIt may please be noted once again that it is the sole responsibility of the Centre Superintendent to ensure that the examination is conducted smoothly and fairly.”
