The HRD Minister answered many important questions during a Q/A conducted on national television. 

The Human Resource and Development Minster, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ conducted a question-answer round on national television. During the conversation, the HRD Minister informed that the Central Board of Secondary Examination, CBSE would be conducting pending board exams in schools where students are already enrolled. The decision is taken to ensure minimum travel for the students. The minister further informed that the evaluation process of the CBSE 10thand CBSE 12th answer sheet has started and the results are likely to be released by July end.

Talking further, Mr Pokhriyal informed that exams will be conducted amid strict norms of social distancing. In order to conduct exams keeping the safety of the students and staff members in mind, the Board along with HRD framed guidelines for the conduct of CBSE remaining exams. The MHRD has also announced that the teachers involved in the evaluation process would be exempted from delivering academic and administrative work for the entire yearly tenure.

The HRD Minister released C CBSE Class 10 Datesheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Datesheet 2020 on May 18, 2020. According to the decided schedule, the pending exams will be conducted between July 1 and July 15. According to the minister, the evaluation process of the answer sheets of the already conducted exams has started. The board is trying its best to release CBSE 10th results 2020 and CBSE 12th results 2020 by the end of July.

While talking about the reopening status of schools, Mr Pokhriyal said, “There are 33 crore students and including parents, it becomes 99 crores and all of these are curious about when will school reopen and how will these function. We have yet to decide on the re-opening dates but have asked NCERT to create a framework on how to re-open the education institutes. UGC is also creating a framework for higher education institutes. The health of students is our top priority.”
