CBSE 12th Compartment exams and CUET UG 2022 clash, students in a fix

The CBSE Class 12 Compartment exam has been scheduled on August 23, the same date as CUET UG Phase 5 exam. Read on to know more!

After major rescheduling of CUET (Common University Entrance Test), the Phase 5 exam date is now clashing with the CBSE Class 12 Compartment exam scheduled on August 23. The CUET UG 2022 Phase 3 exam dates  (August 7, 8, and 10, 2022) that were originally assigned to candidates have been changed to the Phase 5 exam dates. Candidates for CUET 2022 stated that they had been contacting and writing to NTA about the clash between the entrance exam and CBSE Compartment exam but have not yet heard back.
The CBSE had released its Class 10, 12 board examination results in July, it had announced that compartment examinations will be held from August 23. Earlier this month, the board also released the date sheet for the Compartment examinations. The CUET UG 2022 was initially supposed to conclude on August 10, but has extended because of exams being postponed due to technical issues and students not getting centres of their preference.

A students who is set to appear for CUET UG 2022 and CBSE 12th Compartment exam said, “My CUET papers were initially scheduled for August 6 but were postponed to August 23. Both exams are very important for me. I would like to take admission this year itself after clearing compartment exams. Now these both are just days away and there is no information about our CUET papers being rescheduled, I’m feeling very tense” he said.
