The HRD minister conducted the live session on May 14 at 12 noon to interact with teachers and answer their queries.

The Minister of Human Resource and Development, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' during his third live session exclusively organized for teachers, said that the CBSE board examiners who are involved in the evaluation of CBSE Board Exams 2020 answer sheets are exempt from any online class duties for the time. The minister conducted the live session on May 14 at 12 noon to interact with teachers and answer their queries.

During the question-answer round, while answering a teacher, Reshu Jain, who had a pertinent question for Mr Pokhriyal in the Twitter live session "How can a teacher do four hours of online teaching for e-learning classes along with CBSE board exam paper evaluation?” the HRD Minister stated that the examiners of the Central Board of Secondary Education who are involved in the checking of CBSE 10th, 12th answer sheets do not have to carry out their online teaching duties for now. The minister further clarified that they also do not need to form any e-learning reports, and can concentrate on their CBSE paper evaluation work. 

The HRD minister further added, "He told the teacher that in case such a situation arose, the teacher should inform the authorities as soon as possible as this kind of added pressure was not supposed to be put on teachers."

According to the data revealed by the minister, a total of 1.5 crore CBSE answer sheets are waiting to be checked. The target set to complete the evaluation process is 50 days. Meanwhile, The minister also announced the pending exam dates for CBSE 10thand CBSE 12th students. According to the revised CBSE Class 10 Date Sheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Date Sheet 2020, the examinations will be conducted from July 1 to July 15. With this announcement, the CBSE 10th result and CBSE 12th result is expected to be announced in August.
