Many students have claimed that a total of 12 questions were wrong in CBSE Class 10 Odia paper. The board has given time till March 26 to raise grievances.
CBSE Class 10 Term 1 Result 2021-22: The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the CBSE Term 1 Class 10 Result 2021-22 on March 11 in offline mode. The board has sent mark sheets to individual schools and students can collect their mark sheets from respective schools. Ever since the result was released, many students and teachers have been raising grievances about wrong questions in Odia paper on Twitter. To resolve the concern of teachers and students, the board has provided an online dispute redressal mechanism. Now, the students, teachers and parents will be able to raise their objections till March 26.

After the class 10 term 1 result declaration, many students and teachers have been claiming that the CBSE Class 10 Odia question paper had many errors and the board has not provided a grace mark for the same in the result mark sheet. As per Tweets, the paper had total of 12 wrong answers. Also, the CBSE English paper sparked controversy for allegedly promoting "gender stereotyping" and supporting "regressive notions". Following this, the board had decided to drop the passage and award full marks to all the students for the question.

A student wrote on Twitter, βThe answer key of Odia questions paper had 12 answers wrong. The correction has not been done in the answer key. So it is showing huge negligence to Odia language, which is a great loss to the students who have chosen Odia as the second language. Therefore I request you to kindly reconsider the matter and check it. Please support the students for getting justice.β
Another student wrote on Twitter, β There seems to be an error in the evaluation of CBSE Term1 Class 10 Odia subject, due to which students with 2nd language Odia have been awarded very low marks. Most of them have scored full marks in other subjects. Please rectify the marks.β
