The Central Board of Secondary Education released the revised datesheets for class 10, 12 pending exams. The exams will be conducted between July 1 and July 15.
The Human Resource and Development Minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' released the CBSE class 10, 12 datesheets 2020 for the pending exams. As stated earlier by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) that CBSE 10th, 12th examinations will be conducted for 29 main subjects only. On May 5, 2020, the Education Minister announced that CBSE 10th examinations will be conducted for the students of North-east Delhi only. According to his then posted tweet, the Central Board of Secondary Education canceled the CBSE 10th examination for class 10 students nationwide, except for the student from North-east Delhi. However, on May 8, 2020, the HRD Minister declared that the Board will conduct the pending exams between July 1 and July 15.

As declared by Mr Pokhriyal in his tweet posted on May 16, the Board released the CBSE Class 10 Datesheet 2020 and CBSE Class 12 Datesheet 2020 today i.e. May 18, 2020.
Sharing the revised schedule of the CBSE 10th pending exams, the minister tweeted:
CBSE Class 10 Datesheet 2020 for remaining exams (Only for Delhi North-east District Students)
As declared by the Education Minister, the Board will conduct the CBSE 10th according to the schedule given below. The first examination of the class 10 students will be of the Social Science subject on July 1. The examinations will conclude on July 15 with English Communicative and English Language & Literature subject. The duration of the examination will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

As declared by the HRD Minister, CBSE 12th pending exams will be conducted according to the schedule given below. The first examination will be of Home Science subject on July 1. The Class 12 examinations will conclude on July 13 for all the students across the country with the Sociology subject. However, the examination of the North-east Delhi students will conclude on July 15 with Biology subject. The duration of the examination will be 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
However, the minister postponed the release of the datesheets on May 16 as CBSE had to discuss some technical details related to the set schedule.
The release of the CBSE revised schedule for pending exams came as a relief for the students whose exams got postponed due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by multiple extended nationwide lockdowns imposed in order to control the virus. The education minister conducted two live sessions through his social media accounts to solve the queries and concerns of the students related to the exams. During the live sessions, the minister announced the dates between which the pending exams of CBSE 10thand CBSE 12th students will be conducted. According to the revised schedule announced by the minister, the examinations will be conducted from July 1 to July 15. With this announcement, the CBSE 10th result 2020and CBSE 12th result 2020 is expected to be announced in August.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) earlier announced the JEE Main 2020 April Exam and NEET 2020 exam dates. JEE Main is scheduled to be held in multiple sessions from July 18 to July 23 while NEET will be conducted on July 26. JEE Advanced 2020 will be held on August 23.
