CBSE Guidelines for CWSN students released; Apply for facility exemptions at Pariksha Sangam Portal by Jan 24

The latest CBSE circular is released for students under CWSN category wanting to apply for facilities exemptions as per Board's rules during the conduct of CBSE Examinations 2024. The last date to apply for CWSN facility on the Pariksha Sangam Portal is January 24, 2024.

CBSE Guidelines for students under CWSN category

CBSE Board Exam 2024 Class 10, 12: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released important guidelines for students under Children with Special Needs (CWSN) category. According to CBSE Date Sheet 2024 Class 10, 12, board examination 2024 will be conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024. The latest CBSE circular is released for students under CWSN category wanting to apply for facilities exemptions as per Board's rules during the conduct of CBSE Examinations 2024. The last date to apply for CWSN facility on the Pariksha Sangam Portal is January 24, 2024.

CWSN facilities can be applied via CBSE Parkisha Sangam Portal. Stating that CWSN students may apply for these facility via their respective schools, the Board said, “The schools were instructed to update the status of CWSN students through the "Pariksha Sangam" portal. Every year, CWSN students are approaching the Board just before the conduct of examination with the request to provide the facilities exemptions as per Board's rules during the conduct of examinations. If the CWSN students desire to avail any facilities/exemptions permissible by CBSE during the examinations, the request for the same can be made by the concerned school through the web portal as it was done for last year.”

How to apply for CWSN Facilities via Pariksha Sangam Portal?

The Board informed, “The schools will log-in into the portal using their login ID and password wherein they will be shown the list of their CWSN students and the facilities permissible to each category of students as per their disability. If the students wish to avail any of the facilities, the same is to be selected so That details would be made available in the admit card itself and centre superintendent will be instructed to make the necessary arrangement for the same.”

It further added, “The Web link of the said facility has been made available in the Pariksha Sangam portal. It is therefore requested that if CWSN students wish to avail applicable facilities, the school will fill the details and upload the document on the portal which will be made available from 19.01.2024 (Friday) to 24.01.2024 (Wednesday). Requests sent earlier to the CBSE for availing exemptions by the schools will also be uploaded by the schools on web during above said schedule. No request for exemption will be entertained after 24.01.2024 and in offline mode.”
