The Central Board of Secondary Education is taking every step possible to make sure students do not suffer any academic loss during this lockdown period. CBSE is also taking online classes via Zoom for school students to cover their syllabus.
CBSE has announced some important points to be followed by students during this lockdown period and academic year. Here are those points:
75 Percent Attendance Compulsory:
CBSE schools that are conducting classes online are marking students' attendance too. The teachers before beginning any online class are taking the attendance to make sure that all students attend it and don't miss the classes. As per official rules, 75 percent attendance is compulsory to appear for CBSE 10th Board & CBSE 12th Board exams. Students are advised to take online classes seriously and try to maintain attendance to avoid any issue.
NCERT Alternative Academic Calendar:
NCERT alternative calendar contains all the guidelines required to be followed while students are studying online from home during the lockdown. Links to access chapter-wise content are also available on DIKSHA, e-pathshala, and NROER are available in the calendar.

New CBSE Syllabus 2020-21:
The Board has recently released the syllabus for the academic session 2020-21 for classes 9 to 12. The Board has also advised students to keep it with them while preparing for the exams, to help them plan accordingly. There is still discussion going on reducing the CBSE syllabus until then students are advised to follow the official syllabus.
CBSE Board Exam Result 2020:
The Board will be conducting the pending exam for 29 papers of CBSE 10th and CBSE 12th from July 1 to July 15, 2020. The CBSE has already started the evaluation process for the exam papers which were already conducted before the lockdown. CBSE 10th Result 2020 and CBSE 12th Result 2020 is expected to be released in August.
