CBSE Results 2023: Son of Labourer, Washerman top with 96% marks

Ayush Kanojia, has scored 96.2% in the CBSE Board Exams despite having to help his parents after his school hours. Aytush’s parents work as washermen and he has been helping them in ironing clothes to support the family financially.

Ayush is a student of Aamrapali English Senior Secondary School located in Greater Noida has scored 97 in Mathematics, 96 in Hindi, 95 in Sciences and Social Sciences and 90 in English in the CBSE Class 10 Results announced on May 12.

This year, more than 21 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 exam and the overall pass percentage stood at 93.12 percent. Speaking to Shiksha.com, Ayush said that he took the hardships as a challenge and wanted to score the highest so that he could make his parents proud.

He said: “My parents work very hard for my future. My major encouragement was the financial condition of my family, it led to my achievement. A major role was played by my parents.”

Sharing his success mantra to score high in CBSE Board exams, Ayush said that NCERT books are sufficient and one should stay away from distractions. “Anyone looking to score over 90 percent should follow NCERT-prescribed books, for Maths, RD Sharma is a must. The most important thing is to stay away from distractions.

Son of Laborer scores 96% in CBSE

Deepesh Rajak is another such student of Aamrapali School, as his father works as a labourer in and around Greater Noida. Deepesh’s parents had to make a lot of sacrifices so that their child could study well, and after CBSE Results results were announced, they were sharing his success story all around.

The young boy speaking with Shiksha.com said that this is just the beginning of his success and this is not his destination. For scoring high in Board exams he said: “I used to underline all the important points in NCERT books and I also used NCERT examples and RD Sharma for maths.”

My parents and teachers encouraged me at every step during my board exam preparation period and it was only because of them that I could score such marks.

Paramjeet Rana, Managing Director of the School said that this is a great moment for his entire team as teachers have really worked with these students and students did exceptionally well in the CBSE Board exams.

Subham Debnath is another such student who despite all odds has scored over 95 percent in the Board exams. Subham scored 95.4 percent in the class 10 CBSE Exam. The Father of Subham is unwell and his mother works as a teacher. Subham also feels that NCERT books are more than sufficient to score well in the Class 10 examination.
