CBSE Term-1 exams are ongoing for Class 10 and 12. The Board is conducting the exams in two terms via offline mode. The duration of each question paper is 90 minutes.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in its latest notification has sent directions to all the school heads and exam centre superintendents to print CBSE question papers in only one language - English or Hindi. CBSE Term-1 exams are ongoing for Class 10 and 12. The Board is conducting the exams in two terms via offline mode. The duration of each question paper is 90 minutes. The exams are being conducted in multiple choice question (MCQ) format and students are attempting the same on OMR sheets. Talking about the printing of question papers for CBSE Board Exams 2022, the board has asked the school heads and centre superintendents to take the necessary action on the same.

The official notice released by the Board stated, “It has come to the notice that some of the examination centres are printing both English and Hindi versions of question papers and thereafter these are being distributed to the students. This is not as per the directions supplied by the CBSE.”

The notice further informs, “It is desired that only the English version of question paper is to be printed first and supplied to the students. Hindi version question paper is printed only if any candidate is in need of Hindi version of the question paper. Same way where Hindi medium has been adopted by the candidates, the examination centres should first print the Hindi version of the question paper and provide the same to the students. English version question paper should be printed only if it is required by any student.”
