CBSE to organise workshops for Students, Teachers, Parents for career development

The training aims at helping counselors, school heads, and teachers in professional development. It also focuses on assisting students and parents in decision-making. The Board will conduct weekly workshop focusing on one group.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to conduct a series of virtual workshops on career development for students, parents, teachers, principals, and counselors. The training aims at helping counselors, school heads, and teachers in professional development. It also focuses on assisting students and parents in decision-making. The Board will conduct weekly workshop focusing on one group.

An official notification by CBSE secretary Himanshu Gupta regarding the conduct of the workshop reads, “All concerned are encouraged to join the sessions live on Webex or via livestream. Certificate of participation will be awarded for principals, teachers, and counselors workshops to those who submit the session feedback form within 24 hours of the live session conclusion. For those unable to join the sessions due to unavoidable circumstances, the session recordings will be available on CBSE’s official YouTube channel- http://www.youtube.com/@cbsehq1905.”

According to the Board, the workshops are specially designed to provide the participants with a holistic approach to career advising and decision-making processes. CBSE has also released a complete workshop schedule on its official website providing date and time, topics and speakers, and registration and webinar links.

CBSE will conduct the webinars for parents and students on July 24 and July 29 respectively from 3PM to 5PM. The topic of the workshop will be “From insight to impact - Self-Reflection Strategies for CBSE Student Career Planning”.

“The ultimate aim is to equip students with simple techniques to continually assess their capabilities and adapt to evolving trends in the workforce and education sectors, ensuring a lifelong alignment of their strengths with their career paths,” said CBSE.
