CGBSE released the revaluation and recounting notice on its official website for CGBSE 10th results 2020 and CGBSE 12th results 2020. The results are expected to be released today i.e. June 15, 2020. 

Chhattisgarh Board of School Education, CGBSE released the revaluation and recounting notice on its official website for CGBSE 10th results 2020 and CGBSE 12th results 2020. The results are expected to be released today i.e. June 15, 2020, but there is no official confirmation from the Board regarding the same.

According to the latest update, Chattisgarh Board canceled all the remaining 10th, 12th exams in the state. A few CGBSE 10th and CGBSE 12th board exams were earlier postponed due to coronavirus pandemic outbreak in the country and the nationwide lockdown imposed in order to contain the virus. 

According to the notice released on the official website cgbse.nic.in the candidates not satisfied with their marks can file for the re-evaluation process within 15 days of declaration of CGBSE 10th results and CGBSE 12th results by following any of the steps mentioned below. In order to apply for recounting and revaluation, students would be charged a certain amount of fee after which the process would commence.

CGBSE Results 2020: How to file recounting or revaluation form

Candidates who would not be satisfied with their CGBSE board results can file for a recount by following the easy steps shared below.  

  • Visit the official website cgbse.nic.in
  • Look for the section that reads ‘CGBSE 10 or 12 revaluations form’
  • Fill the application form and submit the fee
  • Candidates can save the form and submit it manually to the Board through their schools or they can submit it online as well

CGBSE Result 2020: Rechecking/ Revaluation process

To obtain the photocopies of their answer sheets the candidates need to deposit INR 100 and if they wish to go through the revaluation process they need to pay INR 500. The candidates who appeared for the CGBSE 10th Board Exams and CGBSE 12th Board Exams must also note that they would not be allowed to file any corrections after the 15th day of the declaration of the CGBSE Class 10 results and CGBSE Class 12 results. The form must be deposited with the Board within this time. 

Students must note that the Chhattisgarh Board provides a 50 per cent fee concession to the students of Naxalite areas such as Jagdalpur, Dantewada, Balrampur, Rajnandgav, etc for filing corrections and revaluation forms.

The Board would conduct the evaluation twice by the authorities and the candidates would be provided with an increment only if more than 10 per cent marks are being affected. In the recounting process if there is a decrement found in the copy even that would be updated in the result of the candidate.
