EuroKids Introduces 'Heureka' Curriculum with Harvard-Inspired Pedagogy

EuroKids has launched the 8th edition of its curriculum, ‘Heureka: The Visible Thinking Curriculum’. Drawing inspiration from Harvard University's Project Zero and aligning with the National Education Policy 2020's emphasis on holistic development, Heureka aims to foster critical and creative thinking in young learners. In line with its aggressive growth strategy, EuroKids also announced plans to expand its network across Delhi and the NCR region.

Heureka Curriculum

Heureka marks a transformative shift from teaching children "what" to think to equip them with the skills to think critically and creatively. The curriculum introduces 20 structured, Harvard-inspired Thinking Routines designed to ignite curiosity, encourage imagination, and nurture critical thinking in young minds. This approach ensures that children move beyond simply absorbing information, and actively engaging with it to promote deeper understanding and creativity.

Heureka was developed over 18 months of extensive research, pilot testing, and refinement, and is grounded in the EPICS philosophy, which focuses on five often-overlooked areas of development: Emotional, Physical, Intellectual, Creative, and Spiritual quotients. The curriculum is built on 13 distinct programs such as CodeQuest, EuroKonect, EuroFit, EuroArt, and Elevate each tailored to support individual learning journeys. These programs are designed to prepare children not only for academic achievement but also for lifelong personal growth.

Announcing the launch of the curriculum, KVS Seshasai, CEO, Pre-K Division (EuroKids), Lighthouse Learning, said, “At EuroKids, we believe in laying the foundation for lifelong learning by nurturing curiosity and critical thinking from as early as two years old. Aligned with NEP 2020, which emphasises holistic development inspired by the ancient Indian concept of Panchakosha or the 'five sheaths' of human existence, Heureka integrates these principles into its educational approach. EuroKids is also enhancing its HomeBuddy app to complement the curriculum, offering enriched interactive content to support cognitive development while maintaining balanced screen time.
