GSEB HSC Results 2023: Guidelines for verification, re-evaluation of marks, official notice here

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking of their answer sheets.  The application process for re-evaluation or rechecking will be announced by GSEB on its official website at www.gseb.org.

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has issued a circular for the guidance of the students and schools along with the results of GSEB HSC Science result 2023, which were declared on May 2, 2023. 

As per the official circular, principals of schools have to ensure that students' mark sheets, certificates and S.R. information are shipped separately. Necessary instructions and sample form (circular) along with marks sheet and certificate have been sent to the schools for marks verification, office verification, name correction, group correction, rejection of marks and re-appearance in the examination. Students can also check and download the official circular from the official website. 

Students unsatisfied with their GSEB 12th Result can apply for GSEB HSC Revaluation. The students will have to submit their application and pay the required fee within the given deadline. In order to apply for 12th board results rechecking or revaluation, they need to apply through the official website of the state board. After conducting the re-valuation, GSEB 12th  result will be declared again in July 2023 (tentatively). Students will be able to download a pdf file of the GSEB HSC rechecking result. The file will contain the student’s roll number and name along with the change in marks. Last year, rechecking Gujarat 12th result was announced on June 19.  

The notice read, “Applications for scrutiny and xerox of OMR after result should be done through online mode on board website at www.gseb.org. Candidate’s mark sheet will be distributed only after verification with SR. The principal should ask the parent to check the name in the mark sheet certificate. If any correction is required in the name of the student as per the mark sheet, we will guide the student to apply in the prescribed application form along with the proof within the prescribed time limit.”

“Answer book observation can be done in four subjects: Mathematics (50), Chemical Science (052), Physical Science (054), Science (56). The answer book observation venue, date and time details will be placed on the board's website www.gseb.org. Accordingly, one has to appear at the place specified by the board for examination of answer book at own expense,” it added. 

Meanwhile, the Board has not released GSEB HSC Arts & Commerce results date. The Gujarat Secondary Education Board (GSEB) is expected to release the GSEB SSC result 2023 also in May 2023.
