The Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar revealed that after the announcement of the Haryana board class 9 results, the students will be able to join their new classes after the reopening of the schools.

Haryana board is all set to announce the class 9 exam results in the upcoming week. According to the latest updates, the students who appeared for the class 9 exam will receive their results in the coming week. On April 5, the Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar revealed that after the announcement of the Haryana board class 9 results, the students will be able to join their new classes after the reopening of the schools.

The Haryana CM also made important announcements regarding board exams and class promotions for the current academic session. He stated that considering the prevailing health crisis due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the state education board will skip conducting class 10 science exam and class 11 mathematics exam. He also revealed that after a discussion the education department decided to promote the students based on their performance in the examinations they appeared.

The Haryana Board class 10 and 12 students commenced on March 3. The examinations were scheduled to conclude on March 31 for class 12 students and on March 27 for class 10 students. However, due to the spread of the contagious virus COVID-19, the board postponed 10 papers of class 12 and 4 papers of class 10. According to the reports, the fresh dates of the postponed examinations will be released once the lockdown ends.

The CM also stated that considering the health and wellbeing of the students and teachers, the government decided to promote the school students of classes 1 to 8 to the next academic year without conducting any annual examinations as the schools are closed due to the nationwide lockdown.
