Haryana Board of Secondary Education has given one more chance to secondary and senior secondary schools in the state to upload internal assessment and practical exam marks online on or before May 11, 2020.
Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE) has given another chance to secondary and senior secondary schools in the state who had failed to submit internal assessment marks of the students.
In an official notification released by the Board on its website, it has stated that several schools have failed to update internal assessment marks of students in the online portal despite an extension in the deadline and are being given a second chance to complete the process.
The board has requested all District Education Officers to inform the schools in their region and has also released the list of schools that are yet to submit marks.
If the school fails to submit internal assessment/practical marks/General Awareness and Life Skill Grade (GLS), the board will not be able to announce the results and for this, the school head will be responsible, said the board in the notice.
Also, the Schools will have to pay late fine separately for internal assessment marks and practical exam marks. To release the passing certificates for students the Schools have to pay late fine Rs. 500 per student and a maximum of Rs. 5000.
Earlier, the state Board had asked the teachers and examiners to start the evaluation process for HBSE 10th exam 2020 answer sheets at home from April 11 and complete it in the next 10 days.
The internal assessment marks are crucial since class 10 Science paper was canceled and Haryana Chief Minister had announced that result for Science paper will be announced based on marks scored in internal assessment and other tests which have already been concluded.
