JKBOSE released a notice informing the students listed under the UFM or unfair means to present themselves for further scrutiny before the committee on June 9, 2020.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) released a notice regarding the JKBOSE 10th Annual Regular 2020 examinations for Jammu Region. JKBOSE asked the JKBOSE 10th students who were listed under the UFM or unfair means, to present themselves for further scrutiny before the committee on June 9, 2020. The notice regarding the same is published on the official website of the Jammu and Kashmir Board i.e. jkbose.ac.in.
The official reads, βIt is hereby notified for information of all the concerned that the below mentioned candidates of Secondary School Examination (Cass 10th) Annual Regular 2020 (S/Zone) of Jammu province who are alleged to have resorted to the use of Unfair means/Misbehavior in the Examination centres are hΓ©reby directed to present themselves before the Committee for scrutiny and disposal of unfair means/Misconduct cases as per date, time & venue given below at their own expenses to defend themselves against the charges leveled against them, failing which it shall be presumed that they have nothing to say in their defense and decision taken by the Sub-committee on the basis of available record/reports shall be final and binding upon them.β
A list of roll numbers is also released by JKBOSE along with the notice. All the concerned students are required to present themselves by 10:30 am at the JKBOSE office, Rehari Colony on June 9. The students, however, who are unable to attend the office due to lockdown restrictions must contact the board and inform of the same.
The notification further states, βThose candidates who are not able to attend the office of JKBOSE due to Lockdown restrictions shall provide their Contact Nos. along with the Roll Nos. through SMS on the Phone No. by or before and shall necessarily make themselves available on phone as per Schedule.β
All such students are required to send their contact numbers along with roll numbers through SMS to 9906285008 on or by June 8, 2020. Students are also required to be available on the phone number shared as per the schedule.
The board strictly said that students must present themselves in front of the committee for scrutiny in order to defend themselves. In case they fail to be present β either in person or on phone, as notified, the board shall presume that the said students have nothing to say in their defense. As such, the decision taken by the sub-committee on the basis of the available record/ reports shall be final and binding upon them.
The 10th board results for the exams will be released only after the completion of this procedure. In 2019, the JKBOSE 10th result 2020 for the Jammu Division β Summer zone was released on May 13. This year, however, the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by the imposition of nationwide lockdowns delayed the JKBOSE annual results 2020. The 10th board exam results and 12th board exams results in the country are delayed due to the outbreak of the pandemic. Nationwide lockdown and its several extensions delayed the release of board exam results for Class 10 and 12. While the Class 10 Board result for JKBOSE is expected to be released early, the 12th board results 2020 for JKBOSE appears to be delayed than expected.
The official notice released by the JKBOSE is given below:
