The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has announced that it has extended the date for application cum permission forms for Higher Secondary Exams Part 1 of the Jammu division until June 10.

 The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced that it has extended the date for application cum permission forms for Higher Secondary Exams Part 1 also known as Class 11 Bi-annual session of the Jammu division until June 10.

The exam fee for the same will be Rs 2,515. The students can fill the forms in respect of Failure/ re-appearing/ fresh/ backlog issues on the official website.

The schools are the in-charge of fee collection along with a Rs 10 fee per candidates changed by them on top of the fee of INR 2515.

The students have been asked to submit the forms to the concerned school departments and keep a copy with themselves for future reference. The orders have been released by the Board as an extension to the orders of December 14, 2019.

In mid-March, the Jammu and Kashmir government had closed all the academic institutions, colleges, universities, and other academic institutions due to the novel coronavirus outbreak in India. As a precautionary measure against the rapidly spreading disease, the government had also suspended the ongoing examinations including JKBOSE 10thand JKBOSE 12th examinations. Earlier, the state government had directed the Board to promote all students of classes 1 to 9 and class 11 students of Jammu division to the next class without examinations.

The JKBOSE has recently also modified the question papers pattern and based them on the analogy of the Central Board of School Education, CBSE for the annual examination to be held in October-November this year. This new pattern will be implemented in the exams that will be held in the Kashmir division and also the winter zone of the Jammu division. The model question papers are also available on the board website www.jkbose.ac.in.
