All eligible learners can now submit their NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 public exam fees with a late charge of INR 100 per subject till February 6, 2023. However, the last date to submit a consolidated late fee of INR 1,500 per subject by eligible learners has been extended until February 15, 2023.
NIOS Fee Submission Deadline Extended: The deadline to submit the NIOS 10th, 12th exam fees for April-May 2023 session has been extended. According to the official notice released by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), all eligible learners can now submit their NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 public exam fees with a late charge of INR 100 per subject till February 6, 2023. However, the last date to submit a consolidated late fee of INR 1,500 per subject by eligible learners has been extended until February 15, 2023.
On December 1, the NIOS board had opened the NIOS public exam 2023 registration portal for April-May session and the last date to submit was January 28, 2023 without late fee. Students can submit their application form with late fee through the official portal, i.e. sdmis.nios.ac.in by logging in through 12 digit enrollment number.
The board has notified students applying for NIOS Class 12 exam April-May 2023 that there should be a minimum two year gap between passing Class 10th and passing Class 12th.

"It is the responsibility of the learners (who have passed class 10th in October 2021 or April 2022 and are registered to appear in Class 12th) to submit the exam fee for not more than 4 subjects for the public exams for Senior Secondary courses to be held in April-May 2023 session," NIOS board said in a statement.
"Result of the learners who submit the fee for more then 4 subjects will not be declared if the mandatory gap of two years as mentioned above is not completed," it added.
