NMMSS Application 2024: The Ministry of Education is all set to end the application window for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP). Started on June 30 onwards, the process slated to end on August 31, 2024. Candidates willing to apply for NMMSS 2024 scholarships may submit their forms through the NSP's official website i.e. scholarship.gov.in. It must be noted that One-time registration and application process for fresh and renewal scholarships is now available on NSP.
Steps to apply for NMMSS Scholarship 2024
Candidates seeking scholarship via NMMSS 2024 may apply following the steps listed below:
- Open the National Scholarship Portal at scholarship.gov.in.
- On the homepage, navigate and click on new NMMSS 2024 link.
- In the input fields, enter required details
- Verify the details and complete the registration process to fill the application form.
- Upload the scanned copies of the necessary documents (if required).
- Click on submit and download the page.
- Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
NMMSS 2024 One-Time Registration Now Available
The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) has launched a new One-Time Registration (OTR) application for the NMMSS 2024. This update includes a redesigned homepage, enhanced mobile app, and a refreshed web interface, leveraging the latest technology for an improved user experience. The OTR system assigns a unique 14-digit identifier linked to the Aadhaar/Aadhaar Enrolment ID, which will be valid throughout the student's academic career. The deadline for submitting new or renewal applications for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) is August 31, 2024.
