JNVST Class 6 admission application forms can also be filed online through the official website, i.e. navodaya.gov.in.
NVS Admissions 2023: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is scheduled to close the JNVST Class 6 admission application window tomorrow, i.e. February 8, 2023. Earlier, the NVS has extended the Class 6 admission registration deadline due to administrative reasons. The NVS Class 6 admission form 2022-23 will now be available until February 8, 2023.
Parents and guardians must note that the online application form for Class 6 admission can be filled out through the official website, i.e. navodaya.gov.in. The JNV Selection Test is a mandatory exam that a student needs to appear for admission to Class 6 in JNVs for the academic session 2023-24. The test will be held on April 29 at 11.30 am.
An official notice released by NVS official reads, "Online registration for Admission to Class-VI (session 2023-24) in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas through selection test is in progress. Last date of submission of online applications is extended up to February 8, 2023. Candidates may apply free of cost by visiting the website https://navodaya.gov.in or https://cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs."
It is likely that JNV Selection Test 2023 results will be announced by June 2023. The selection test will be of a two-hour duration and will have three sections with only objective-type questions. There will be 80 questions in all for 100 marks.
No students will be allowed to appear for the selection test without JNVST admit card. Students will be permitted to appear for the selection test only on the production of either the aadhar card or Government approved residence certificate of the parent uploaded in the application portal. The photo available on the admit card must match with the candidate at the time of verification by the invigilator at the examination centre.

Students willing to download NVS Class 6 admit card may follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official website of NVS, i.e. navodaya.gov.in
- On the homepage, click on the designated Class 6 JNV admit card link
- The link will be redirected to a new webpage
- Insert registration numbers and dates of birth
- Submit the details
- JNV Class 6 selection test admit card will appear on the screen
