Interested candidates must submit their JNVST Class 6 admission 2024 applications by today, October 7, 2024. This deadline comes after a previous extension from September 25, giving students additional time to apply.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) is all set to close the application window for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) for Class 6 admission for the academic session 2025-26. Interested candidates must submit their JNVST Class 6 admission 2024 applications by today, October 7, 2024. This deadline comes after a previous extension from September 25, giving students additional time to apply.

Eligible applicants can register through the official NVS website at http://navodaya.gov.in. It is important to note that candidates should apply only once; any applications submitted in prior years will be automatically rejected.

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025 Dates and Exam Schedule

The JNVST for Class 6 admission will be conducted in two phases:

- Phase 1: January 18, 2025, at 11:30 AM

- Phase 2: April 12, 2025, also at 11:30 AM

JNVST Class 6 Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility:

- Applicants must be born between May 1, 2013, and July 31, 2015.

- Candidates must not have repeated Class 6 or passed the class before the academic session 2024-25.

Rural Candidate Eligibility:

- Seat Reservation: 75% of district seats are reserved for rural candidates.

- Educational Background: Students must have completed Classes 3, 4, and 5 in a government or recognized rural school.

- Local Requirement: Class 5 must be completed in the same district where the application is submitted.

- NIOS Students: National Institute of Open School (NIOS) candidates must provide a rural status certificate from local authorities.

Urban Candidate Eligibility:

- Any student who attended an urban school during Classes 3, 4, and 5 will be classified as an urban candidate.

 Exam Format

The JNVST will consist of 80 objective-type questions, covering three sections, and will be held over a two-hour period from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Candidates with disabilities will be given an additional 40 minutes to complete the exam.
