School Guidelines for Survey Implementation

To ensure the survey is conducted efficiently, the DoE has set forth clear instructions:

• Teachers' Responsibilities: Teachers of the selected students are required to complete a teacher questionnaire.
• School Head's Role: The head of the school must fill out a school questionnaire for the survey.
• Observer and Investigator: A team comprising an observer and a field investigator will arrive at the school before the morning assembly to oversee the process.

Facilities and Resources Required for the Survey

The circular further outlines specific requirements for the survey venue:

• Room Requirements: A large, well-lit room on the ground floor with sufficient seating for 30 students must be provided, ensuring proper ventilation, sanitation, and drinking water facilities.
• Attendance Register: The attendance register for the selected students must be available to the field investigator.
• Survey Materials: OMR sheets and question booklets used during the survey should be returned to the observer and field investigator once the assessment concludes.

Additionally, the use of blue or black ballpoint pens is mandatory for completing the survey.

Provisions for Students with Special Needs

For students with special needs, the DoE has emphasized that additional measures must be taken to ensure they can complete the survey:

• Extra Time: Students requiring extra time to complete the test will be given 30 minutes.
• Scribe Assistance: If needed, a scribe must be arranged to assist these students for the entire duration of the assessment.

National-Level Study with District-Level Reporting

It is important to note that Parakh Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 is a mandatory national-level study and will be followed by district-level reporting.
