PSEB 10th Term 2 Maths Exam 2022 Cancelled: The Punjab Board has cancelled the PSEB 10th Term 2 Maths Exam of Government Senior Secondary School, Ayali Khurd following the allegations of Cheating. As per media reports, the authorities have cancelled the PSEB Class 10 Term 2 Maths exam after three teachers were accused of helping the students in cheating.

As per media reports, the centre superintendent, Vinod Kumar, accused three teachers involved in helping students cheat. However, the decision was taken after a heated argument between the centre superintendent and accused teachers. The teachers were accusing the centre superintendent of deliberately providing the students less time to complete the exam.

Yog Raj Sharma, PSEB chairman said that he will start an inquiry and take appropriate actions after the inquiry gets completed. Meanwhile, the local team of PSEB reached the exam centre for further inquiry.

PSEB 10th Term 2 Maths Exam 2022 Cancellation Notice

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has issued a show-cause notice to the Ludhiana DEO, centre controller, observer and the three teachers who have been accused of disturbing examination proceedings. PSEB has also sent fresh guidelines to DEOs to take stringent action and ensure that the subject teachers are not allowed inside the exam hall.

The centre superintendent, Vinod Kumar alleged that the teachers and students have surrounded him after the exam and also a few parents entered the exam hall to confront him. According to media reports, the centre superintendent stated, “The teachers here were trying to help students, but I strongly objected. When I confronted them, they created a scene along with the students and surrounded me. This is not the first time that the school teachers interfered in the examination process.”

PSEB Class 10 Term 2 Maths Exam 2022 Revised Date

As of yet, the board has not announced a new date to conduct the PSEB 10th Term 2 Maths Exam. PSEB will announce a new date to conduct the PSEB 10th Term 2 Maths Exam soon after the inquiry is done. However, it is expected that the exam might be rescheduled for May 25 or May 27. The board secretary has further written to the director-general of school education to send a show-cause notice to the district education officer (DEO), Jaswinder Kaur, observer Gurpreet Kaur from Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), investigators and three subject teachers.
