Punjab Board 12th Results 2020 DECLARED: The Punjab State Education Board (PSEB) has declared the PSEB 12th Result 2020 today i.e. July 21 at 11 am. Students can check the PSEB 12th Examination Results 2020 from the official website of the Board. The Punjab Board has earlier cancelled all the pending PSEB 12th examination that was postponed due to coronavirus across the country. The Punjab Board 12th Result 2020 was announced on the basis of 'best performing subjects formula'. The PSEB has announced the PSEB 12th Examination 2020 result for various streams including- Medical, Non Medical, Commerce, Humanities and Vocational. The PSEB Class 12 Result 2020 mentions the student's name, roll number, marks obtained in different subjects, grades, etc. The students who are unable to clear the PSEB 12th Examination 2020 can appear for the supplementary examination conducted by the Punjab Board. The Punjab Board has decided to do away with the physical marksheet and provide digital mark sheets to the PSEB 12th students.
Students must note that the PSEB 12th results 2020 released online are provisional. The board declared the Punjab 12 result 2020 based on the 3 exams it had conducted earlier. Punjab board followed the CBSE Board Exam 2020 assessment scheme in order to announce the result. This year, Punjab Board has not released the merit list or topper details as the Class 12 board exams were cancelled due to the outbreak of COVID19. This year, 2,65,449 students appeared as regular candidates and 20,229 students appeared in Open category in Punjab Board class 12th exam.

PSEB 12th Result 2020: Pass Percentage
The Overall Pass percentage this year stood at 90.98 per cent, which has increased by 4.57per cent than last year. In PSEB 12th result 2019, the pass percentage was recorded at 86.41 per cent. The pass percentage of open school candidate was 58.2 per cent.
Pass percentage of rural area is better at 93.39 per cent as compared to urban areas at 91.96 per cent in PSEB Class 12th exam 2020.
