Schools Closed amid Cold Weather in Bareilly, Prayagraj

According to the official order released by Prayagraj district magistrate, winter vacation has been declared till January 6 (Saturday) in all government, aided, private and CBSE, CISCE affiliated schools. Earlier, the district administration had revised the timings of these classes. The schools were directed to start at 10 am and end at 3 pm.

Schools closed in Bareilly, Prayagraj amid cold weather

Schools closed amid Cold Weather: Schools in Bareilly and Prayagraj have received orders to remain closed due to falling temperature. The announcement regarding the closure of schools in these areas is made due to severe cold wave and fog in the state, i.e. Uttar Pradesh. Bareilly schools will remain closed until January 14, 2024.

Bareilly district magistrate (DM) Ravinder Kumar told the ANI that holidays have been announced for students studying in nursery to Class 8 in the district due to dip in the temperature.

The cold wave has also affected the functioning of schools in Prayagraj district. Schools will open in Prayagraj district for students of nursery to Class 8 on January 8, the Hindustan reported.

Pilibhit School Timings Revised

Timings for secondary schools and CBSE schools across the district is revised by Pilibhit administration. According to the orders, Secondary schools will open at 10 am in order to provide relief to students from the cold wave. The schools will close at 2.30 pm. The revised timings will be in effect till January 7

District inspector of school Girjesh Kumar Choudhary has issued orders to the principals of government, non-government aided, unaided, recognised and CBSE schools across the district informing about the revised timings.
