Gujarat Schools Affected by Continued Heavy Rain

In Gujarat, schools were initially closed on August 27 due to relentless rainfall. According to local media, some schools will remain closed today as well, following continued heavy rains over the past two days. Students are advised to stay in touch with their school administration for the latest updates on school closures.

State Relief Efforts Amidst Continued Heavy Showers

The heavy rainfall in Gujarat has continued for the fourth consecutive day, disrupting normal life and causing significant flooding in low-lying areas. Many residents have been relocated to safer locations as water levels in dams and rivers continue to rise. State Relief Commissioner Alok Pandey has urged the public to adhere to safety guidelines issued by the district administration to manage the ongoing situation.

Other states such as Odisha, Delhi, Parts of Haryana are likely to recieve heavy rainfall as well.
