The majority of students have failed TS Inter 1st Year Exams 2021 and student Unions have called for Telangana Inter College Bandh for 2 days, starting December 20, 2021.
Telangana Inter College Bandh: Since the declaration of TS Inter 1st Year Results 2021, the student protests have gripped the state. As Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, TSBIE has registered a pass percentage of only about 49%, many students are unhappy with TS Inter results. The majority of students have failed TS Inter 1st Year Exams 2021 and student Unions have called for Telangana Inter College Bandh for 2 days, starting December 20, 2021. This is also not the first day when the state is experiencing agitation over these exam results.

According to local media reports, the National Students Union of India, NSUI has imposed this junior colleges bandh on December 20, 2021. In order to show support in this protest, activists of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad called for a Telangana Inter College Bandh today, i.e. on December 21, 2021.
Among various concerns raised by student unions on TS Inter results, the foremost is related to Board's pass percentage. Students are alleging that TSBIE failed in proper evaluation of answer scripts, due to which about 51% of students have failed in these exams.
Even though TSBIE has said that students not satisfied with their TS Inter 1st year will get an opportunity to re-write these exams later with Inter 2nd year exams and they can also apply for TS Inter Recounting and Reevaluation. But, students don't seem happy with this. The Board has even said that in case any student wants for re-checking of papers, they can apply for re-evaluation as well.

Telangana Inter College Bandh is likely to be seen across the state. Even before this, students had raised concerns over Inter 1st year results. Many students claimed that as online classes along with poor internet connectivity hampered their learning.
