All institutions offering the two-year Intermediate course—including government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and welfare colleges—will observe holidays from October 6 to October 13, 2024. Colleges are scheduled to reopen on October 14, 2024.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially declared the first term holidays for junior colleges across the state. As per the TSBIE press release, all institutions offering the two-year Intermediate course—including government, private aided, private unaided, cooperative, and welfare colleges—will observe holidays from October 6 to October 13, 2024. Colleges are scheduled to reopen on October 14, 2024.

Comprehensive Coverage of Institutions 

The holiday announcement encompasses a wide range of institutions, including TG Residential, TG Social Welfare Residential, TG Tribal Welfare Residential, TG Model Schools, TG BC Welfare, TMRJC, KGBV, and incentive junior colleges. To ensure compliance, all District Intermediate Education Officers (DIEOs) have been instructed to monitor adherence to the holiday schedule by college managements.

Official Notice Details 

The TSBIE's official notice emphasized the importance of the holiday schedule, stating: “The Principals of all Government/Private Aided/Private Un-Aided/Co-Operative/ TG Residential/TG Social Welfare Residential/TG Tribal Welfare Residential/TG Model Schools/TG BC Welfare/TMRJC/KGBV/Incentive Junior Colleges and Composite Degree Colleges offering a two-year Intermediate Course are informed that the first term holidays for Junior Colleges are declared from 06-10-2024 to 13-10-2024 (Including both days) and shall be reopened on 14-10-2024.”

Extension of Admission Deadline for First-Year Intermediate Students

In a related update, the TSBIE has extended the deadline for first-year intermediate admissions for the academic year 2024-25 to October 15, 2024. This extension follows a previous deadline that was set for September 15, 2024; however, the reasons for the recent extension have not been disclosed.

Verification of Affiliated Colleges Urged 

Parents and students are advised to verify the affiliation of their selected junior colleges prior to completing admissions. The official list of affiliated colleges can be accessed on the TSBIE websites: acadtgbie.cgg.gov.in and tgbie.cgg.gov.in.

Admission Fees Update

According to the latest notice from TSBIE, students seeking admission to government and government sector junior colleges can complete their applications without incurring any late fees. In contrast, those applying to private junior colleges will be subject to a late fee of INR 500.

Q:   When will TS Inter time table 2025 release?

TS Intermediate time tavble 2025 is expected to release in the last week of December 2024. The time table will be out on the official website. Students will be able to check the complete TSBIE time table 2025 by clicking on the link provided. 

The Board will conduct the TS inter exams 2025 for 1st and 2nd year in February/March 2025 in pen and paper format. Students must go through the detailed TSBIE syllabus 2025 and should know the exam pattern to ace the examinations. They are also advised to solve, and analyse the previous years' question papers to know the type of questions asked, the difficulty level of exam and more. 

Q:   When will TSBIE 1st 2nd year exams be held?

TS Inter exams 2025 will be conducted in pen and paper format in February/March 2025. 

To ace the exams, students must complete their TS inter syllabus 2025 and know the exam pattern well. They must also solve and practice the TS inter sample papers 2025 and the previous years' question papers.
