Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) released a new academic calendar for the session 2020-21 for classes 9, 10, 11 and 12. According to the new academic calendar released by the UP Board, the syllabus will be covered in the usual manner and annual as well as board exams will be conducted in the month of February and March 2021. In the academic calendar, the board mentioned the month wise syllabus to be covered. The month-wise mention of the syllabus will help teachers as well as students to cope up with the academic loss that occurred due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus followed by several extended lockdowns.
While the academic institutions are shut due to the nationwide lockdown until May 17, the state education department is leaving no stone unturned to continue the teaching-learning process. Students and teachers can use this academic calendar for week-wise with reference to theme/chapter taken from syllabus or textbooks. As the learners of the secondary and senior secondary classes are adolescent learners who require less guidance, the month-wise calendar with the syllabus will help them during self-study as well. For classes 9 and 10 all the important subjects such as Mathematics, English, Science, Social Science, Hindi, and Sanskrit are included in the academic calendar. For classes 11 and 12, stream-wise subjects are mentioned in the academic calendar.
According to the academic events mentioned in the calendar released by the state board, UP Board 10th and UP Board 12thexaminations will be conducted in the month of February 2021. The new academic calendars for class 9, 10, 11 and 12 released by the Uttar Pradesh board are listed below:
