The last date to apply online through principal of respective schools, using official website upmsp.edu.in, is till 12 midnight on August 20. 

UP Board 10th and 12th Compartmental Exam 2020: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) today, i.e. August 5, 2020, started the UP Board Exam 2020 compartment or improvement application process. Students who could not clear the UP Board 10th Exams 2020 and UP Board 12th Exams 2020 can now apply for the compartment or improvement exam. The last date to apply online through principal of respective schools, using official website upmsp.edu.in, is till 12 midnight on August 20. Hitherto, the Board was conducting improvement or compartment exam for UP Class 10th only, however, from this year, it has decided to introduce compartmental exams for Class 12 to benefit more than 25 lakh candidates who appear for the UP Board Class 12 Exam every year.

The last date to apply online through principal of respective schools, using official website upmsp.edu.in, is till 12 midnight on August 20. 

High school students can apply for the compartment or improvement exams by paying Rs 256.50 as an examination fee. Candidates need to submit an application along with the photocopy of the mark sheets with the concerned school principal.

Candidates are allowed to appear only for one paper i.e., one subject they want to improve their marks in or any of the two subjects in which they have got the compartment.

For UP 12th students, the examination fee will be Rs 306. Candidates can apply for only one subject. The rule is applicable for students from all the streams including Science, Arts and Commerce. The Board has directed all the school principals to collect the examination fee and application form from the candidate by following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as issued by the State government.
