UP Board exams 2021 postponed or cancelled, here's what we know so far

No official announcement has been made with regard to the cancellation of UP Board 10th, 12th exams.

The Uttar Pradesh government is contemplating the conduct of board examinations for classes 10 and 12 amid a huge spike in coronavirus cases in the state. As per reports, the UP Board 10th and UP Board 12th examinations are likely to be cancelled. However, no official announcement has been made in this regard. Divya Kant Shukla, secretary of Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad said, "So far, no decision has been taken on the cancellation of Class 10 and Class 12 exams. The government will discuss and decide on this. The exams had already been put on hold a month ago." 
The UP Board Exam date 2021 has been extended twice because of the panchayat elections and COVID-19. 

Latest: UP Board 10th, 12th exams 2021: Question papers prepared, final decision on exams by May-end

Originally, they were scheduled from April 24 to May 10, 2021, however, they were postponed due to panchayat elections. Thereafter, UP Board Class 10 examinations were scheduled to be conducted from May 8 to May 25, 2021. The examinations for UP Board 12th were to begin from May 8 and continue until May 28, 2021. Now, the examinations stand postponed due to COVID. On April 15, UPMSP had extended the UP Board exam date 2021 until May 20.
