According to the official schedule released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, the board exams will be concluding on March 3 for Class 10 and for Class 12 on March 4, 2023.
UP Board Exams 2023: With the commencement of the Uttar Pradesh 10th 12th Board Exam 2023, reports claim that nearly three lakh candidates did not appear for the UP Board English and Physics Paper. According to the official schedule released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, the board exams will be concluding on March 3 for Class 10 and for Class 12 on March 4, 2023.
This year, UP Board is taking strict measures to curb cheating and use of unfair means during UP Board Exams 2023. The Board also decided to impose National Security Act if any student or authority is caught cheating or helping others in exams. Considering the same as threat, more than 6.5 lakh students did not appear for the first few UP Board exams. At least 9 percent of the examinees did not reach the exam centre. Around 2977,625 candidates were registered in this examination out of which 2,22,145 remained absent in higher secondary examination.
Candidates caught impersonating examinees
Candidates not only missed the examination due to strict checking, many even got caught impersonating as examinees. According to the reports, seven were caught in physics exam centre and three were caught in English exam centres. The fake candidates were held in Ballia, Firozabad and Siddharth Nagar. As per reports, Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla said that the board exams were being held in a proper and clean manner.

According to the UP Government guidelines, 8753 exam centres set up for UP Board Exams are being monitored with CCTV cameras.
