The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad commenced the UPMSP Board exams 2023 evaluation today. The board is following strict security guidelines during evaluation. More than 1.40 lakh examiners will evaluation the UPMSP class 10, 12 answer sheets at 258 centres.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has commenced the UP Board exams 2023 class 10 and 12 evaluation process. Officials from the board said on Friday that more than 1.40 lakh examiners are involved in the evaluation of the  3.19 crore board exam answer sheets at 258 evaluation centres across the state.

The officials also said that the board has arranged extensive arrangements to ensure security at the evaluation centres including installing CCTV cameras and applying sections 144 within a 100-metre radius. Moreover, at least four armed police guards and local intelligence unit/police personnel will remain deployed till the end of the evaluation process.

Secondary Education Council Secretary Divya Kant Shukla said โ€œ258 centres had been established for the evaluation of high school (Class 10) and intermediate (Class 12) exam answer sheets. The evaluation process will begin on Saturday and continue till April 1. The council has appointed 89,698 examiners to evaluate about 1.86 crore high school exam answer sheets. Another 54,235 examiners will assess the 1.33 crore intermediate exam papersโ€.

โ€œThe examiners, deputy chief examiners and their deputy controllers were trained through audio-video presentations at the respective regional offices to ensure error-free evaluationโ€, Shukla said. He also informed that the training was completed at the council's regional offices in Meerut on March 12, Bareilly on March 13, Gorakhpur on March 14, Prayagraj on March 15 and Varanasi on March 16.

The deputy controller or principal of the evaluation centre has also trained the examiners and deputy head examiners before commencing the UPMSP exams 2023 evaluation process at their respective centres. Apart from that, the District Institute of Education and Training principals are also supervising all the UPMSP board exam evaluation centres in their respective jurisdictions.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has conducted the UP Board Class 12 exam 2023 from February 16 to March 4, 2023, while the UP Board 12th exams 2023 were held between February 16 and March 3, 2023. According to the official notification released by the board, about 58.8 lakh students (58,85,745) have registered for the UP board 10th, 12th exam 2023, of which 32,46,780 are male candidates and 26,38,965 are female candidates.
