West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has asked all the WBBSE (Class 10) examiners to check the answer scripts at least twice, put the marks into the marks-foils and keep the answer scripts ready for submission. The State Board has also said that it may call for submission any time after the lockdown is uplifted. The Madhyamik results are expected to be declared in May. Once declared, students will be able to check their Madhyamik results through the official website of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (wbbse.org).
Board President Kalyanmoy Ganguly, in a notification, said “Kindly check the answer scripts lying with you at least twice, put the marks into the marks-foils and keep the answer scripts and marks-foils ready for submission to the concerned Head Examiners. The Board may call for submission any time after the relaxation of Lockdown period.” The notification further said that for the next instructions, they must visit the official website of the WB Board.

Prior to the announcement of the lockdown, the state Board had asked the teachers evaluation the Class 10 examinations to put off the scheduled process until further orders. The submission of marks and answer scripts were suspended at that time.
As per the West Bengal Madhyamik schedule, the exams were held from February 18 to 27, 2020, while the WBCHSE (Uchha Madhyamik) examinations took place between March 12 and 27, 2020.
