BITS Pilani Amissions 2021: BITS Pilani has commenced admissions to Work Integrated Learning Programmes (WILP) for the upcoming academic year. Working professionals willing to upgrade their skills, educational qualifications in industry-relevant technology, management domain and rise in the industry can apply for the programme. Candidates interested in BITS Pilani Admissions 2021 for the Work Integrated Learning Programme can apply online on the official website of the institute, bits-pilani-wilp.ac.in. The last date to submit the application is December 6, 2021. The official notice released by the institute regarding the commencement of admissions reads, “BITS Pilani's WILP has enabled over 87,000 working people to get industry-relevant higher education qualifications without taking a career sabbatical for over the last 40 years.”

Work Integrated Learning Programmes available at BITS Pilani includes a range of programmes from BTech, MTech, MSc, MBA and Diplomas offered exclusively for working professionals in industry sectors such as IT & ITES, Automotive, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, and BFSI.

Professionals coming from the manufacturing sector can also apply for these programmes as it enable them to specialize in domains such as Automotive Electronics, Automotive Engineering, Design Engineering, Digital Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality Management, and Manufacturing Management etc. WILP also offers a range of technology and management courses for the pharmaceutical and health care sector employees as well.

According to the official statement, BITS Pilani Work Integrated Learning Programmes can be pursued by working professionals without any career break with technology-enabled synchronous classes conducted mostly on weekends or after business hours. Successful completion of the programmes leads to award of degrees, or diplomas in science technology/ engineering, and management domains. The learning will be imparted via blended mode, i.e. classroom and experiential learning. Experiential learning consists of lab exercises, assignments, case studies and work-integrated activities.
