CAT 2022 Answer Key Live Updates: Response Sheet Download Started at iimcat.ac.in; Challenge CAT Answer Key by Dec 4

CAT 2022 result date has not been announced yet. However, it is expected that the scorecards will be available for download from January 3 onwards. Since the CAT result is announced immediately after the New Year, we can expect the CAT 2022 result to be announced by January 3, 2023.

Candidates will be selected for admission to IIMs on the basis of the following parameters:

The IIMs will begin selection process for MBA/PGP courses soon after the release of CAT 2022 result. The IIM selection process will begin in the first week of January 2023 within three to four days of CAT 2022 result declaration. Under the selection process, candidates will have to check their shortlist status at the institute website and fill the WAT-PI form through CAT credentials. If shortlisted, they will be invited to participate in WAT-PI to be held between February and April 2023. Final admission list will be released in May 2023.

The CAT result cum scorecard 2022 will have following information printed:

• Candidate’s name
• Candidate’s CAT application number
• Exam Date and year
• Candidate’s personal details
• Candidate’s photo
• Candidate’s sectional scores
• Candidate’s sectional percentiles
• Candidate’s overall score
• Candidate’s sectional percentiles

CAT 2022 result will be released in the first week of January 2023. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards from the official website iimcat.ac.in to know their sectional and overall scores and percentiles.

If released, the final CAT 2022 answer key will be released at iimcat.ac.in website in PDF format. Candidates will be able to download the final answer key without using their login credentials.

The final CAT 2022 final answer key will release after all the objections have been submitted and reviewed. In case no objection against the CAT answer key 2022 is accepted as valid, the final answer key will not be released. In case, the CAT 2022 answer key is revised on the basis of valid objections, the final answer key will be released at the time of CAT 2022 result declaration.

Here’s the table indicating qualifying cut offs for IIM. Candidates need to meet the following percentile to be eligible for the PI-WAT round. They will be selected for the WAT-PI round on the basis of much higher cut off limit.

IIM cut offs for MBA/PGP admission for 2023 batch are expected to remain high at 99-100 percentile for top six campuses. The CAT 2022 cut offs for new and baby IIMs could be lower, between 95-98 percentile.

Here's and estimation of how much raw score in CAT 2022 will fetch how much percentile. Candidates can use this table as a reference to assess their MBA admission chances.

P= Percentile score

R= Rank of the candidate assigned on the basis of scaled CAT score or total number of candidates who rank below you.

N= Number of candidates who appeared in CAT exam (all three sessions)

Suppose, 1,000 people take CAT and you bag the top rank, which means 999 candidates scored less than you. Then your percentile will be 999/1000*100= 99.9.

The last date to challenge the official CAT 2022 answer key is December 4, 2022. Candidates can submit their objections until 5:00 PM. After that the window to challenge the CAT answr key 2022 will be deactivated.

Candidates cannot challenge the official CAT answer key 2022 without any evidence. They need to upload a document supporting their claim that the offiicial answer is incorrect. Any objection that doesn't have a document supporting it, will be rejected. 

CAT 2022 answer key slot 3 and individual response sheet can be downloaded by only those candidates who had appeared for the exam in slot 3. No other candidate can access the slot 3 answer key.

Candidates can calculat their rae score with the help of CAT 2022 answer key and reponse sheet but they will not know how much percentile they will score. For that, they will have use percentile predictor tools. CAT percentile is the rank a candidates has secured in comparison to rest of the candidate. 

CAT 2022 witnessed about 86% attendance on the exam day out of 2.55 lakh applicants.

This is how the CAT 2022 response sheet and challenge answer key window looks like. Candidates have to download their response sheet and raise objection by logging in through this window at iimcat.ac.in website. 

Candidates can calculate their raw CAT score by matching their answers with official answers. Then adding 3 marks for each correct attempts and deducting -1 marks for each incorrect attempt. The total marks calculated will be their CAT 2022 score.

The final CAT answer key 2022 will be prepared only if the objections raised by students will be accepted as valid. The final answer key will be the basis on which CAT 2022 result will be prepared and candidates’ raw scores and percentiles will be calculated. The final CAT 2022 answer key PDF download process will take place after the declaration of result.

To challenge the official CAT 2022 answer key, candidates have to follow the steps given below:

• Open the iimcat.ac.in website

• Click on 'Login'

• Enter CAT login ID and password

• Go to Objection tab

• Click on ‘ ’ sign to add an objection

• Check the question number from the PDF of the question paper on the official website

• Enter relevant details

• Upload supporting document

• Pay objection fee, i.e. INR 1,200 per objection through credit/debit card or net banking

CAT answer key 2022 contains the following information:

• Candidate name and roll number
• CAT 2022 exam date and slot
• Section-wise questions & answers
• Answers selected by the candidate
• Atatus of the answers (right, wrong or unattempted)

Candidates can challenge the CAT 2022 answer key from December 1 to December 4. For challenging the CAT answer key, candidates have to fill an online form available at the iimcat.ac.in website, through log in. 

Candidate can download their CAT 2022 answer key and reponse sheet at iimcat.ac.in website by using their login credentials. The CAT answer key is available in PDF format in the candidate dashboard.
