IGNOU Admissions 2023: Eligibility criteria revised for MBA Banking and Finance
According to the revised criteria, Candidates with a three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) are now eligible for the programme.
IGNOU MBA Admission 2023: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has relaxed the admission eligibility criteria for MBA Banking and Finance programme. The IGNOU admission process is now revised. The requirements of CAIIB certification and 2-year experience in the banking and financial sector is removed under the revised criteria. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for IGNOU MBA in Banking and Finance programme through the Samarth portal ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
According to the revised criteria, Candidates with a three-year bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 percent marks (45% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) are now eligible for the programme.
IGNOU offers a two-year degree in MBA Banking and Finance programme under the School of Management Studies. The management programme is delivered through open and distance learning mode.
The programme was launched after the signing of an agreement between the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF) and the IGNOU. The programme is offered with an aim to provide a post-graduate academic qualification in the banking and finance area. The university aims to meet the aspirations of prospective candidates who wish to acquire a postgraduate degree in banking and finance by liberalising the eligibility criteria.
Meanwhile, the university has also extended the deadline for admission and re-registration for the July 2023 session till July 31. Candidates can register for the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes on the official portal β ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and online programmes at ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
