IIM Amritsar to offer Executive MBA in Delhi/NCR region

Application for the EMBA program can be submitted on the IIM Amritsar website at https://iimamritsar.ac.in/student until Feb 7, 2023.

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Amritsar has announced the inaugural batch of EMBA in the physical mode for working professionals in the Delhi-NCR region. So far, IIM Amritsar has been running the EMBA program via online mode. With the introduction of the program in the Delhi-NCR region, it will now be available in the physical mode for working professionals. Application for the program can be submitted on the IIM Amritsar website at https://iimamritsar.ac.in/student until Feb 7, 2023.

With the commencement of the admission process for the program, Professor Nagarajan Ramamoorthy, Director IIM Amritsar, explained that by starting this offline program, we want to convey to our students that possibilities are unlimited. He said, “During the COVID period, we adopted technology to meet the learning needs of our students, and now that COVID restrictions are uplifted, we are available in the offline mode to provide the human touch, which the students earnestly craved.”

Director IIM Amritsar continued, “The availability of our EMBA program in the Delhi-NCR region will give working professionals access to quality management education and prepare them for leadership roles in diverse organizations. The working professionals desirous of leading organizations or entering into entrepreneurial ventures will benefit greatly from this program. We have conceptualized and designed the program to meet the needs of professionals interested in leadership roles.”

Professor Mukesh Kumar, Chair of EMBA, informed that the EMBA program of IIM Amritsar is a two-year program offered on weekends to prepare working executives for leadership roles. Professionals with a minimum of 3 years of work experience can apply for this program. The program will run on the weekends over two years, beginning June 2023. The EMBA program is designed to provide a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum in general management with possibilities of specializing in various functional fields. The program offers a rich mix of the most relevant core and elective courses recommended by industry experts.
