IIM Indore concludes annual Faculty Development Programme 2021
The valedictory function took place in the presence of Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, Professor Sanjeev Tripathi, Chair-FDP and all the participants.
Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore conducted the Five-week annual Faculty Development Programme and concluded the same on August 14. The management institute conducted the online programme for the first time amid the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, IIM Indore Faculty Development Program had international participation, as there were eight participants from Mid-Western University School of Management (MUSOM), Nepal. The valedictory function took place in the presence of Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore, Professor Sanjeev Tripathi, Chair-FDP and all the participants.
In his valedictory address, Professor Himanshu Rai advised the participants to identify their true identity. The professor further added, “The first attribute you need to have inside you after practising is to know who you really are, irrespective of the position you hold. Find out what you draw passion from and what makes you happy. Focus on that and make that your true identity.”
While talking to the participants who completed the programme successfully, He said, “Once you are able to identify what your passion is, you will be keen to learn more and be able to imagine the kind of world you want to live in; and also, be able to create that world for the people of the next generation to step into.”
Professor Sanjeev Tripathi congratulated all the participants for successfully completing the programme. All the 20 participants also received their certificates on completion of the programme.
IIM Indore also concluded its placement drive for the FT globally-ranked Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP). According to the official reports, IIM Indore witnessed a decline in the average salary of participants. The previous year’s placement reports state that in the 2020-21 placement season, IIM Indore EPGP received the highest salary offer of Rs 32.76 lakh per annum. The average salary of the batch was noted as Rs 20.4 lakh per annum and the median salary was Rs 20 lakh per annum. The average salary recorded last year for EPGP participants was Rs 24.10 lakh per annum.
