IIM-Raipur, NSE Academy collaborate to offer joint certificate programmes in finance

Under this partnership, both the universities will facilitate aspirants by introducing and offering several long-term and short-term programmes.

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur in collaboration with the NSE Academy Limited (NAL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) is all set to jointly introduce certification programs in finance and related financial technologies. A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the two universities. Professor Sanjeev Prashar, Dean (Academics), signed the MoU on behalf of IIM Raipur. Under this partnership, both the universities will facilitate aspirants by introducing and offering several long-term and short-term programmes.

These programmes will be specifically designed for working professionals and organisations with an aim to build leadership capabilities. These programmes will mainly be in the area of finance and financial technologies.

According to the information provided by the institute, these courses aim to help prepare candidates by grooming their overall development and preparing them to face the global challenges in their field of specialisation. Considering the ongoing pandemic situation and dynamics involved around the COVID-19 protocols, the institutes have decided that as of now, all these programs under the new collaboration will be offered in both online and hybrid mode and will be certified by both institutions.

The official press release states that experts from IIM-Raipur and NSE Academy hope that this new collaboration will bring better opportunities in Human Resource Development in the country. The objective behind launching these courses also involves providing better trained financial managers to the nation. Authorities are also hoping that the courses will help bridge the gap between industry and academia.
