IIM Rohtak 12th Convocation: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Rohtak hosted its 12th Convocation. The management institute conferred degrees to 236 students of the 12th batch of the MBA programme, one student of the PhD program and 37 graduates of the BBA program. This year, the highest salary offered to IIM Rohtak students has increased to 36 LPA. The institute claims that the average salary this year is 16 per cent higher than last year.

During the convocation address, Professor Dheeraj Sharma, Director, IIM Rohtak, spoke about the overwhelming response IIM Rohtak final placement recorded. The Director informed that the graduating class once again had a 100 per cent success rate.

The convocation ceremony included presentation of awards to the top performers of the passing class. Diksha Gabra received the gold medal for academic performance, while Akshat Shukla received the gold medal for being the all-rounder of the year. Megha Aggarwal and Mridul Gupta received Silver and Bronze medals respectively for their academic performance.

The convocation ceremony was also attended by Justice Surya Kant, Judge, Supreme Court of India and Justice Avneesh Jhingan.

Justice Suryakant congratulated and motivated the graduating students of IIM Rohtak. “You must outline a set of commitments to yourself that are based on your innermost thoughts about what is important to you, what you want from life, and how you will conduct yourself to maintain your self-esteem. If you When you use this personal compass to continually guide your choices in life, you won’t fall into the trap of mechanically pursuing a conventional and obvious path. In fact, you will certainly be able to follow a path based on your deepest values ​​and priorities. But we will prepare our own curriculum. He said.

He further added that IIM Rohtak has a record number of almost 70 per cent female MBA students, which is an incredible achievement for a university of global stature.

“Our society is driven by emotions. Significant investments are made by parents in their children without conditions or expectations in return. Therefore, students should remember that this integral aspect of parenting is the foundation of our Indian society,” Justice Avnish Jhingan said.
